Hello dear friends and happy Sunday! I’m back after a short break (I was sick with COVID) with a brand new series – Sunday Scroll.
Every Sunday I’ll share with you five things that caught my eye, grabbed my attention or stopped me in my scroll at some point during the week. It’s that simple! Just a fun little way to share in almost real time, just what’s got my attention each week.
No. 1: Interior Side Lights
I had just been scheming with B on an idea I had to add more wall space to our family room opposite the fireplace without closing the large doorway completely. It’s nice to have so much light flood in and I had the idea of using the glass from the french doors that used to be on this opening to create sidelights that add more wallspace without making the doorway feel more closed off.
Then this week as I was scrolling through Instagram I stumbled upon this lovely shot from Stephanie of @BloomingIvyLane and I was convinced this was the way to go! Not an exact representation of my vision but pretty darn close!
No. 2: Garnet Hill Linen Bedding

This linen bedding from Garnet Hill is so beautiful and so amazing. I’ve had my eye on these beautiful patterns for a while now and just came back to them again this week.
No. 3 Milk Eye Concealer

I’ve been really making an effort to put more time into myself this year. Part of that has been reinventing my beauty routine. Not trying to look younger but simply to be the best version of myself I can be at this stage of my life. A little eye concealer goes a long way to brightening the eye area and this Milk Eye Concealer is a current favorite. I love the little roller ball applicator and this shade is just a little lighter than my natural skin color so it’s bright without looking fake.
No. 4 Cozy Cottage Inspiration

@froken.frida is one of my favorite new accounts to follow for cozy inspiration. Frida is located in Sweden and every one of her photos transports me into a world I’d love to explore more one day. Somehow her account also reminds me somehow of my grandparents homestead. Beauty found in the simple.
No. 5 Old House Patio

Spring is here (even though it doesn’t quite feel like it) and B and I have a lot of projects we would like to tackle outside this year both at home and the beach house. I just love this brick patio and how it’s tucked in under the trees. The teak furniture is beautiful and classic only get better looking with age.
