With the Master Bedroom Closet down to the last bit of trim, B and I have been flip flopping back and forth between that and the entry hall to keep things moving forward. I don’t think we will put doors on the closet until later this spring because, we’ve got some big plans for projects this year. B’s also not always the best at completing projects but with so much we want to get moving, the closet is more than functional at this point.
We are making some updates to our entry hall. While I was putting the finishing touches on the paint in our closet and moving our clothes and shoes back into place, B installed the new ceiling fan downstairs. If you saw my post about ceiling fans, you know that I had a pretty good idea what I like. We ended up finding one at Lowe’s that was very similar to ones I had found but B really liked the blades on this one. We added a black ceiling medallion to hide the box in the ceiling and I think it looks great!
We still have to finish the patch work to the ceiling where the track came down and then paint but what a difference just changing out the fixture makes! I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so we can use the fan.
Now the big remaining project here is the staircase! The photo here was taken after I sanded all the treads so it’s pretty rough looking but I think it will make the “after” photos look more dramatic! I can’t wait to share what I’ve been up to.
Save for Later:
