July 2019 Stitch Fix

Lifestyle· Self Love

20 Jul

Summer is here and hopefully you are enjoying the long, warm days.  This time of year I slow down and go more casual with my wardrobe especially when we are traveling or camping.  That’s what influenced my requests to my stylist for this month’s fix.  I specifically requested casual pieces including a dress that could double as a bathing suit cover up for the beach and she pulled through like a champ!  Below are the 5 pieces in my July 2019 Stitch Fix Box.

Table of Contents

  • Report Footwear: Selma Flip Flop Sandal
  • Market & Spruce: Meroni Mixed Media Top
  • Market & Spruce: Meg Knit Dress
  • Mercado Global: Emilia Artisan Crafted Canvas Tote
  • Papermoon: Wendilyn Knit Maxi Dress

Report Footwear: Selma Flip Flop Sandal

I’m not generally a fan of the “fringe” look but the sandals are so cute!  They are surprisingly comfortable and the colors are all the colors I love wearing in the summer.  I have been wearing these adorable flip flops non-stop since they arrived.

Market & Spruce: Meroni Mixed Media Top

I cannot say enough great things about this top.  For started the colors and beautiful and as I looked through my closet for ways to wear this, I was blown away at all the options because these are all colors I wear.  The style is very flattering and the materials are comfortable and hang very nicely.

As I said before, I requested a dress this time that I could throw on over my bathing suit for a day at the beach but that also could be worn every day.  This dress fits that bill perfectly.  I have a very similar dress from a year or so ago that I wear a lot so I knew this one would be the same.

Mercado Global: Emilia Artisan Crafted Canvas Tote

I wasn’t specifically looking for a bag so finding this lovely in my box was a bit of a surprise.  The price tag was definitely above what I would have been looking for right now but when I inspected the bag, I really loved it.  For starters, the blue and off-white stripes are fun and bold but the accent of the contrasting fringe is so “me”.  The leather straps are really wide so they don’t dig into my shoulder when I’m carrying it.  Inside, it’s mainly one large bag there are several pockets giving me plenty of options to tuck my phone, car keys and sunglasses without them getting lost in the abyss.

Papermoon: Wendilyn Knit Maxi Dress

I pinned this dress recently because I loved the idea of a maxi dress with a waist and I loved the straps.  For a curvy gal like me, this dress is super flattering and just the right length for my 5′-5″ height.

That’s it.  My July 2019 Stitch Fix.  I ended up keeping all five pieces this time even with my strict rules for keeping pieces lately.  I am so excited to start experimenting with these new items with other pieces in my closet.
