The holiday season is upon us and if you are anything like me, you enjoy getting your house decorated to enjoy all season long. With most of our first floor renovations done, I really went all out with decorating this year. It’s the most I think I have ever decorated and I just love how happy and festive the house feels.

I’m starting my tour in the entry hall which is front and center in our house. We found the pretty faux green garlands at Michael’s and I spruced them up with some home-made bows and some white lights. The pretty buffalo plaid ribbon is also from Michael’s.

On the front door, I hung this pretty white poinsettia wreath that we found on sale at At Home recently. I love how the white pops against the black door.

On the hall table, I displayed our cute holiday camper (as a reminder that we’ll be camping again soon) and placed one of my small fake trees from Hobby Lobby. I forgot to redo the chalkboard before I took these pictures obviously. Such is life sometimes. Embrace imperfection.
