Flush mount lights have come a long way since the “noob” lights of the 90s and it’s a great thing because flush mount lights work in so many situations and now come in so many beautiful styles to fit just about any space.
As progress moves along at the beach cottage, lighting has been on my mind a lot. We’re using flush mount lights in a few areas and finding options with a coastal feel has been key. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite coastal style flush mount lights and giving you a sneak peek of a couple options we’re using at the beach house.

Coastal Style Flush Mount Lights We’re Using
While we really love all of these coastal style flush mount lights, we had to narrow down our choices to just a couple that will work at the beach house. One of them for the first floor bathroom and another style for the back hallway.
Coastal Style Flush Mount Light for the Bathroom
After months of searching for just the right fixtures for the bathroom, we’ve settled on these lovelies from Seaport Lighting. The champagne brass is beautiful and will compliment the navy accents in the room perfectly. We’ll be using the flush mount on the ceiling in the center of the room and then the matching light below will be hung over the vanity mirror.
Finally, we’ve purchased two of the lovely star lights below for the hallway in the back of the cottage and I am so anxious to get these up. These remind me of a compass a bit and I think they’ll look great lined up on the ceiling without being too overpowering. I love that these lights are super simple and you can’t beat the price! At under $40 each these look way more expensive than they are.

If you’re looking to add a little coastal flair to your home, I hope these beautiful coastal style flush mount lights inspire you. Do you have a favorite or have you used another flush mount light that has a coastal style? I’d love to hear about it. Leave a comment below and let me know.
